What is CrimeWatch?
CrimeWatch is neighbors looking out for neighbors in order to lessen or prevent crime in our
neighborhood. CrimeWatch captains across OPNA receive crime statistics, prevention tips, and other
timely information and pass on the relevant parts to their local neighbors be email and telephone.
Neighbors who spot unusual or questionable activity can pass this on through their Captains.
For background information on how CrimeWatch started in OPNA, read this
brief history. For more information on how it works, read about its
organization and duties.
The current CrimeWatch Committee is made up of Penny Hoe, Coordinator, and Mark Fidel, Assistant and
Statistician. If you have questions, email either one at
CrimeWatch Email, or phone Penny Hoe at 296-3654 or Mark at 217-3745.
