- Members with email can be added to Opie's Electronic Alert and Announcements list so they can quickly find out the latest news on what is happening in our neighborhood and the city. Emails are sent out as BCC: so your privacy is protected. Only Opie knows who you are - and (s)he won't tell!

Try the Pet Clean-up Bag Dispenser at Osuna Park!
Usage to Date: Over 1,600 Bags!!
A bag dispenser for cleaning up after you walk your dog in Osuna Park (or anywhere) is now mounted in Osuna Park. A collaboration between the School, your Board, and the city's Parks & Recreation Department, OPNA is responsible for monitoring the dispenser and keeping it full of bags - a job your Board has taken on. Please use this when you walk your dogs in our Neighborhood - it helps keep the Park safe for our kids during school, and it's the right thing to do!
How You Can Help OPNA
What do we need from you, our neighbors? While we appreciate your (cheap!) annual dues, we could also use some volunteers to assist the Board in the following areas:
- Take a position on the OPNA Board (it's only for two years)
- Newsletter distribution (quarterly)
- Set-up and take-down for meetings and planned events
- Distribution of flyers with information on an "as needed" basis
- Involvement as an event planning member
- Participation at events as a volunteer

the OPNA a success! If you are not yet a member, please consider joining what is one of the
most rewarding and productive neighborhood associations in Albuquerque, and help us improve our
neighborhood.
OPNA Membership Report
OPNA membership is steady but plateaued at about 150 members - including 8 business members - and we really need more of our neighbors to support your Osuna Park Neighborhood Association with their dues. Your dues help keep this web site up, publish our newsletters to all and email announcements to members who have email, provide refreshments and door prizes at the meetings, pay for the announcement signs at the major intersections before events, and supply funds to the three PTAs for the schools our kids attend (Osuna, Madison, and Sandia). We thank our members for their support, and we hope we are providing the service you need.
